“Growing up in the Philippines, where being a home owner is almost impossible for most people, I never ever dreamed of being one. Even when I came here to the USA 15 years ago, owning my own house was something I never imagined I could do. Fast forward to October 27, 2019, today I can proudly say that I own an amazing house where my Family and I can put down roots and grow. Pia De Castro has been our friend for a few years now and even though we don’t get to see each other a lot, we are Facebook friends so we get updates on each other’s lives. Like clockwork, every couple of weeks I would see a post about Pia getting an award for being One of Intero’s top realtors. So I told my husband maybe we should talk to her and ask questions so we can buy a house a couple of years from now, we just wanted to start the process so In 2 years we would be ready. So my husband called Pia and the next day we had a meeting with her. In this life there are very few times when you come out of a meeting and think to yourself, our lives are about to change. That’s what happened in that 30 minute meeting we had. Pia answered all our questions however many we had, it didn’t matter if we asked the same questions over and over again, she was a true professional. So we asked how the process works, she said bring in some documents and we will do the rest. She told us that if we were ready and we really wanted to, we can buy a house NOW. Again going into this meeting we just wanted to get some information, after the meeting we had a chance of buying a house NOW. So my husband and I went home and had a loooooong conversation about the pros/cons of buying a house now and we decided that we were ready. We called her the next day and she told us to start looking for houses. Life is funny sometimes, the 1st house we ever looked at was the house that we ended up buying. We looked at about 15 houses but the 1st one really was our favorite. So we told Pia that this house is the right one for us. The house was above our budget so we were a little worried but Pia said she would do her “magic” and help us get our house. After a couple of days of negotiations, Pia said that the owner had agreed to sell us the house. From our 1st meeting with Pia to when we got our house keys, it took about 30 days. In 1 month we went from thinking about buying a house to being the owner of a gorgeous 6 bedroom/3 Bathroom house in Lathrop, CA. This would have never been possible without the help of Pia de Castro and her team. We will be forever grateful, if we ever decide to have another baby and it’s a girl, we will definitely name her Pia, haha. Pia De Castro is a true professional, she knows all the tricks in the book but most of all her kindness and understanding is what really helps you.
